Custom Games are not working! Very frustrating

So in the custom games lobby I can select a map, yet I cannot select a gamemode variant. It’s very frustrating- A game breaking bug.

343 please get some bug fixes out a little sooner, this has been going on for a few days I believe, I would expect that you guys can see little topics like these and add our problems to the bugs list, not just blow us off and pretend like it doesn’t exist. Can confirm this is a real bug, and I hope you guys don’t wait until the January update to fix this.

Already saw one person with the same topic, but anyone else having issues with this?

I am selecting a gamemode made by someone else that should be compatible

you have to select the 343 game mode equivalent first like slayer or ffa then select the custom made game mode

Just tried it and it works, why is it like that?? What genius at 343 said it had to be that confusing? So many people complaining… Dont see why it cant be like Halo Reach custom games, pick a map and pick a gamemode

This is still a problem, will it get fixed in the january update?

I had a problem similar to this last night. I wanted to play duckhunt with some friends, but it wouldn’t load the proper game-mode. So I tried to manipulate one of the 343 game types. I also tried to play a custom classic FFA, but it wouldn’t load that game-mode. It would load FFA rockets though… not sure why it will only load certain game-types/modes, but it is annoying.

Mine works
