Just a random idea, please share your opinions or ideas if you’d like.
The idea is this : When a community-made game mode is created & published, it would be presented in the main menu screen as part of a weekly showcase. This is to show off the best made game modes/maps for all to see when players start up the game in the main menu screen.
(This will probably encourage more to create/share maps & game types to be apart of the showcase if they wanted to.)
Once selected, it will automatically setup a lobby for that game type/map, and start the game when players are ready. - (Just like normal)
I thought of this when thinking of the daily challenges Halo: Reach had, and thought it would cool if it showed popular community creations as well.
Daily challenges would be great. They should have Campaign daily challenges too.
As for community support, I think 343i does fairly well in promoting community creations. If they do so more like you have suggested then I think it’ll be cool but not needed.
This would be a neat idea, however implemented.

Okay, this idea is “yoinking” amazing my friend! Get my likes and let us hope 343i is planning something like this. It would help establishing new content creators, reinforce the community and increase the interest for social playlists! Love it! 
It would be awesome to see a playlist like this too. 343 does a good job rotating playlists in H5, but a different weekly offering would be much appreciated.
