I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one dealing with this, but whenever I try to join a custom game in session, it won’t let me. It just says, “Connection to the host has failed.” 343 fix this fast, I just wanna play Halo 3 Jenga Wall.
You can only join if the players have not started the game yet. I don’t know why 343 decided to change this but there’s nothing we can do about it. You’ll have to tell those people to end the game so you can join.
Trying to join someone’s in-game party (when they’re in the lobby) only works sometimes for me. Restarting the game seems to help if you run into the issue a lot.
They must change to the similar system of Xbox 360 where people could join and leave whenever they want unless the host chooses to close the party!
343i has ruined many aspects of what once used to be called Halo MULTIPLAYER. The flexibility is gone.
They must fix these issues for custom games. Only 1-3 people can join me, and sometimes when I invite someone, they become game session leader (lol?)
I’m enjoying CoD:AW because it has no issues at all. It’s disappointing I have to resort to kid’s game because 343i can’t do a great job.
