I’ve never seen this brought up here, but it happens pretty often to me. Sometimes when I take a few friends into the custom game menu and try to load up a gametype from the bookmarked files, the gametype doesn’t load. I press A to select and it just takes me back to the start game screen without showing the selected gametype.
It really sucks when the only thing keeping me from starting the game is the gametype not wanting to be selected and it needs to be fixed.
There’s a bug. You have two options. Load the base game mode that they used to build it first (such as Slayer, or Strongholds), then load the custom game mode from your bookmarks. If you guess the right mode, then it will load up. Alternatively, you can load the file directly from the Author’s Files instead of your bookmarks. 343 hasn’t even acknowledged this issue, which is incredibly frustrating.

I was trying to load up files from the 343 favorites bookmarks, so tracking down the original authors for all of those gametypes won’t be fun. But thanks for the tip.
