The forge team is clearly doing all they can to save halo 5 but i feel like it’s just wasted potential until we get a proper custom game browser, is this coming?
I would love to be able to just search for maps and/or gametypes and join a random custom game with that criteria.
Finding and playing a fun gametype takes a lot of organizing and is sadly not possible for me most of the time
Maybe i would even help to have a box you can check, like: “Looking for group” (or fireteam in this case) so othter players can invite you to custom games easier over a “invite willing players” button
Agreed. It’s definitely a feature that would increase longevity.
Honestly guys it’s not that hard… On waypoint there is a file share and all you have to do is bookmark it. Once you do… Go into customs in game and you will have it there bookmarked in game… Really easy

Woops my bad… Sorry sorry. But yeah… That would be cool to add that. But if you just play a lot of halo and build a friends list… I host customs all the time
Not a huge customs guy, haven’t really played them since system-link 4v4 on H2 back in the day. but I probably would play them more if this was a feature.
Though I think it’s a more difficult task than just slapping it into the game. For all I know it could be extremely complicated, and with all the server lag recently might not be a viable option at this point. Would be cool though.
I think its a great idea, because custom games don’t reward RP, XP, or count towards Commendations; so players would still be HEAVILY incentivized to play matchmaking. However, it would do wonders for the Halo community in general to have a custom game browser.
Custom game browser would be amazing, iv dreamed of this feature for a long time.
accepting that reality that this will never happen, at the very least there needs to be a way to push all the great forge content to people that don’t want to jump through third party hoops to play…likely in the form of community forge playlists
