A few of my buddies and I wanted to relive some memories by playing some custom games like the old days so we decided to hop on the MCC and play. We joined two different parkour servers and were unable to complete either one. The admins would let you get to certain points and then troll for the rest of the time. Then, if you quit attempting the jumps and waited, they just banned you from the server.
I have been playing halo since CE on my original Xbox so I understand that trolls will always exist, but they created the custom game browser to prolong the life of the MCC. It really ruins the overall experience if you and your friends just get banned after just casually playing for an hour. Unfortunately, I do not see any of my friends trying out the MCC again, but at least we still have good halo memories.
I am not sure if anyone reads forums on waypoint anymore, but this is something I wanted to put out there as halo is somewhat of a ‘dying’ game. Avoid ‘SBT64’ and any other children that run servers on MCC as they will try to ruin a fun weekend with some of your childhood friends. I personally will always have a place for halo in my heart but I will never be able to convince people to try it out.
