Custom Edition in next update(s)?

Hi all,

I remember there being support added for custom edition maps to MCC within the last year. Is there any more possible developments in incorporating the full support in a custom edition title for MCC?

I think it’ll make a great addition to support the communities everlasting creativity from legacy players as well as the new comers. The most fun I’ve had was playing & meeting others on CE’s custom edition, and discovering all kinds of new maps which were such a great vibe.

Yeah Custom Edition was beyond ahead of it’s time, it’d be great if we got the ability to play CE maps on console…

I hope. Most of my time with Halo was spent on Custom Edition. CE in general is highly populated in the US. I can find 4v4 in seconds all day long, BTB consistently in evenings, and the Custom Games Browser has a few full lobbies (Gulch CTF, FFA Fiesta) going in evenings.

I’d love to revisit Coldsnap on MCC. I’m sure the non-Halo vehicles couldn’t return, but that white super fast Warthog was awesome.

At the very least, cream of the crop Custom Edition maps should be officially added for both PC and console.
