Ok I was thinking, you know how they said you will be able to customize what weapon you want for each class? What about the shotgun? Since it will be a weapon you can put in you loadout, wont lots of people run around and make it a shotgun fest? Im nervous about how custom loadouts will work…
We won’t really know until we play it, i don’t know if the shotgun counts as a power weapon.
i don’t think shotty will be a weapon load out, well i hope not.
No rocks, no shotty, no Splaser, and no snipes for Loadout Options.

Grenade launcher and Brute Shot are probably in limbo.
No power weapons will be available for “loadouts”, unless the specific playlists states that (team shottys, living dead etc). 343i ain’t stupid, they know better then giving every player a power weapon directly off spawn, it would turn Halo 4 to a camp feast ^^

They didn’t
they have already said that the shotty will be put as ordinance so it will not be availible for loadouts from what i hve heard it is a CQC power weapon, so no power weapons will be put in loadouts. i beleive it was said in a game informer interview on there webbsite. we can’t be compleatly sure till the game is out. they are not trying to give long tearm players a higher advantage to newer or casuale players.
I haven’t seen anywhere that confirms or denies it, but I do remember them saying it will be in a ordinance. Surely you won’t spawn with it because that will ruin the game.

The shotgun won’t be able to be put in a loadout. It’s considered a power weapon and will spawn in with the other power weapons.

I’ve heard nothing about kill streaks.
Since apparently people haven’t been paying attention, from what was posted, in one of the slayer gametypes weapons do not spawn by default on the map but instead weapon spawns are triggered by kill streaks, which give the player an option to call in one of three “care package” type spawns, either shotgun, sniper, or rockets. This is supposedly one of the many ways slayer can operate, with another of the ways being that the care package spawns come on preset timers that can’t be controlled by a side.
