custom challenges: service error

I did a search and found many relevant topics to this error but no solution!

I have been in a discussion with bsangel about it on twitter but I thought I’d see what you guys thought.

I get the Service Error every time I try to go to Custom Challenges. See this picture.

I have tried this on a PC and a mac.

For PC… I’ve tried IE, Firefox, and Chrome (all updated versions).

For mac… I’ve tried Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

Nothing has worked, which leads me to believe it’s an account-based issue.

Has anyone else had this problem and had success solving it?

I LOVE Reach and want to make my own challenges! Thanks, guys!

Do you have a compatibility view turned on? I was having problems with it just taking forever to let me go from field to field. Then this morning I was messing around and noticed it was on for xbox.com. I turned it off and it seemed to help some although the site still acts a little “wonky”.

Yea. Checked all that. It appears to be account related since I’ve tried it on a mac, pc, and now an iPad. It’s only affecting a small number of users, but bsangel tells me that they’re working on it.

I have the same issue and have also come to the conclusion that’s it’s account based. I’ve messaged bs angel a bit about the problem but I haven’t really gotten a true solution for the problem yet. But I’m hopeful it’ll get solved eventually

Yeah i hope so, because as of now this page has so many issues custom challenges is one of them.

I have problems EVERY time I try to make
Medal and
Kills of Enemies challenges.
Come on man…=(
says I already have an active challenge of that type… which I don’t…

We pushed out a website update this morning, and this was one of the things that was addressed. Those of you that previously got an error when attempting to access Custom Challenges, could you try again, please? Clear your cache, delete your cookies, and relaunch your broswer to give it a go. I’ll be crossing my fingers and toes until I hear back!

I still haven’t done any custom challenges. I tried at one point but couldn’t even get the challenges to load up and they would just not appear when i saved them…

I had this issue last night, but it’s fixed now… However, a lot of it is now in French! lol

Great, it’s doing it again, try to make a medals challenge and it says I already have an active challenge with that goal, which I don’t. >=(

EDIT: Actually, I see now, when ever I reach my 4th custom challenge, now matter what the challenge shows the message from above.
