Hello,
I found out about custom challenges about a week ago and have been using them everyday, I wanted to share some of the things I noticed that will definetly help you guys out.
1- For some reason if I am not signed out of my account by the time a completed challenge expires then I will not get credit, happened to me three times where I was stuck in a game and a completed challenge expired, so make sure your signed out if you want the credits.
2- For the MM Kills challenge the website will sometimes give me less kills that I really had which sucks since I build challenges about my hourly average.
3- This is by far the best feature about these challenges, if you are a high rank in Reach then you probably reach the daily limit in about 5-6 hours of gaming (120K) well the thing is if you have completed challenges that expire AFTER you reach the limit then YOU WILL GET THE CREDITS ON TOP OF THE 120K! for the past 4 days I have been averaging 150K a day. BUT there is a kicker to this rule, if a challenge expires before you reach the limit THEN it will count towards the limit, for example if you have 3 challenges worth 30K that will be credited in 5 minutes and you reached 80K for the day then after you get the 30K you will only have 10K left for the day.
4- THIS IS ABSOLUTLY THE MOST ANNOYING THING ABOUT THESE CHALLENGES. three days ago I reach my 120K daily limit just as 50K worth of challenges were about to be credited, I get the credits and decide to do three new challenges that will take me an hour to complete. if you reached the limit before you would notice that sometimes instead of showing a message that says “online credit limit reached” it will show you how much you got from the game and then add it to your total, but the total instantly reverts back to what ever you had before that game, WELL when I got the 50K on top of the 120K limit my total was about 760K (balance) so after I finished the game and it started counting what I got from the game it suddenly reverted back to 710K !! I WAS SOOOO FUKN PISSSED TO SEE IT GO EVEN THOUGH RANKS ARE COMPLETELY USELESS ITS STILL FRUSTRATING TO SEE IT GO!
Well thats all I noticed in the past week. ALSO for some reason today I cannot choose headshot and medal challenges because it is probably considering a headshot as a medal which is insane! please turn it back to the way it was 343i.
Now finally, I would like to bi*ch about the credit limit, the purpose of the credit limit is to have people not cheat and reach inheritor in like a week, but the thing is when you reach nova and above (which is 9 million away) you reach the limit in 4 hours! I really hope 343i will look into improving this i.e. have the limit for nova and above at 240K OR (my fav) instead of a limit have the game show a warning to any player that breaks the 120K saying " you have reached the 120K point you account will be under review" and review anyone who passes it and see if they cheated.
