Custom Challenges removed after September

“We’re shutting down Custom Challenges for Halo: Reach by September this year. The Custom Challenges interface for Halo: Reach in the Xbox 360 Waypoint app will be decommissioned sometime this summer. You’ll still be able to create Custom Challenges on our website here through September. After September, Halo Waypoint will not support the creation of new Custom Challenges. Be sure to make any challenges you want before then!”

Sucks

I’d better get to using them, otherwise I’ll never reach Inheritor. I’m lazy.

This is step one in the phasing out of the last good Halo game.

EDIT: Actually, refusing to update Reach after 4 came out like they said they would was step one. This is step two or something.

Not cool. Halo:Reach gets more player daily than Halo 4; why are you removing this feature?

Show Halo:Reach some love; if you’re taking away Custom Challenges, how about you give us the DLC playlists we’ve been asking for?

Halo: Reach and Halo 4’s population counters can’t be compared - they track the numbers in two different ways. Halo 4 actually gets more players than Reach.

As for a DLC playlist, they’re not going to update Reach. Their primary focus is Halo 4 and soon to be the MC Collection in November. The DLC playlist was removed in Reach after being on a trial period for a few months.

Which really sucked, I enjoyed Invasion on Breakpoint and my friends would often scream about grabbing the blueberry bomb. Ah, good times.

But yeah, Reach is getting on a tad so I can understand why they’re slowly starting to shut down features like that and the ATLAS thing.

Hey, we never know. They may be shutting them down to implement better versions in the next title, who knows?
