i think it seems to be only me cuz i cant find anyone else with this. i had to forfit 3 challenges already because i cant complete them. i had a challenge where you get 9999 kill in firefight matchmaking. everything went well till i got to 4648 and 12 hours left. i played 10 firefight matchmaking rounds and not a single kill counted tword the challenge so out of frustration i forfit the chalange with 3 hours left. so no when i make a challange and i dont get anything after the first match of playing i forfit the challenge cuz its not worth the points it wont give you.
There seem to be a problem with custom challenges today. It worked for me earlier, but now the kills I get wont register for the challenge. Just wait and 343 will sort the problem out soon. To bad about your big firefight challenge, that must really suck after all that work

Dude why did you make a challenge for 9999 Kills? You can get the maximum amount of credits for each firefight challenge (10,000cR) by getting 800 kills in 3hrs. That like 7 games of Score Attack. Combine that with a challenge to get 800 medals and thats an easy 20,000cR in 3hrs. Why make things complicated when they can be done so much easier in less time

i understand the limits and such but it was a bet for me and my friend (which i lost). and its not just today. it did it this whole week for me. and i cant even get the cR if i cant finish the challenges. this post was just more a rant and just hoping that it gets out to people at 343 to look at this issue
there are not working again put campaign challenges there not registering
Not working for me either. Did one custom for 1000 MFF kills in 5 hours. Played more than enough to finish/complete, but the kills number was stuck at 628/1000. Just failed it…what gives?!?
Not one of my last 6 MFF games were counted in the game history either…but, they(343i) are counting my Flat Tire kills.

they are working i did 1 on firefight, and 40 on camp here in the last hour or so. Reached my 200k cap and finished 3/4 daily. en
Remember some times it takes a while, and MMfire and Camp don’t count until you finish the game on ff or save and quit or finish the lvl on camp.
Then it takes and avg of 2-10 min for the site to show on the challenges so you can turn them in.
If you have a guest a lot of times your stats get mixed up with theirs and you get no credit for the challenges. Some times you have to go to Waypoint on your 360 to turn them in, and some times you have to refresh the challenge page ( it will show that you can turn it in but won’t accept the turn in )
Out side of that The 9999 kills Something tells me that that number alone was to big for the system to handle, so that is (My guess) why it stopped at the 4k or so.
and easy FF one i do is 393 head shots= 10k you can do that in 4 grunts or skrim’s ( i like the skrims they are hard some times.)
but if you really want a payout cap out quick oni and look at my challenges, if you get a good save with the locator firing and most of the covies in the blast zone you can finish them quick, my time is 3min=25k i do it about 7 times with my cycle time ( the time to complete and turn in challenges ) around 4min tops.
some helpful hints
Use imacros, they save you time and you can be loading or doing your reverts while it is building the challenge list for you.
As soon as you complete and save and qui ( to turn in) load the camp and pause it at your first revert. then turn in and hit your imarco to start building and then revert and start your timer or count.
If you use a timer like i do what i do is take the game time for the revert, ( around 3 sec)
then i do a game with 5 reverts, the take the number of covies and divide them by five.
then i see how many reverts i need to complete the whole list of challenges.
the i take that number and multiply by the time that each revert takes.
Then i use my formula to account for load times
x= the time of all your reverts needed
y=what you set your timer
x(.12)=y ( for slim360 installed game)
x(.13)=y (For leets installed game)
x(.14)=y (For the really old pro i use sometimes installed)
EDIT//// then take x and add it to y to get the total time
sorry forgot to do add that i just assumed you all knew but not every one is a mathhead like me.
remember to take Y and divide it by 60 to get the min and sec you set your timer, a little bit of math helps you not have to count. You may have to fine tune it up i made the formula on test runs to work on the large side of approximates ( meaning its going to be more time then what you need) just remember to leave about 15 extra sec per 5 min of reverting to account for human error and all that ( You dont revert at the same time every time your a little off each time)

I had a similar problem earlier this year when I heard and started to use the custom challenges. I completed each and every single custom challenge I created but nothing happened. None of my kills counted towards the custom challenges I created. I even created a thread to find out why. This is what I found out. Apparently, when you play with a guest controller you have to get all the kills with the guest controller if you want the kills to count towards the custom challenges. After I found that out I was disappointed and I stopped completely with the custom challenges.
one thing i forgot to tell ya to put x+y to get the total time after using the formula i will add it for an edit.
last thing,
Yes that is a bummer but i think its to stop you from Guest boosting the challenges, do the Oni sword base if you really want fast lvls/credits. I hope you see the benefits to returning to custom challenges.

I will use them if and when 343 fixes that issue. Infact I’m going try once more to see if it works. In the mean time please feel free to invite to any and all custom challenges you create.
