Custom Challenge Bans?

I’ve heard from different sources that you can be banned for ‘abusing’ the Custom Challenge system, Is this true? And if so, what qualifies as ‘abusing’ or ‘boosting’?
I tried to find a ‘rules’ section for them, but was unable to find anything.

Is there a page or list showing what’s acceptable, and what is not? Or are there plans to make a “dos and dont’s” of Custom Challenges?

First I’ve heard of it, unless it came from 343, it’s not true.

EDIT: I stand corrected, I have just went onto Reach and received a cR ban for two weeks, sounds fun…

Same here. Console and account banned for 2 weeks. Would like 343 to shed some light on this.

You are told when you load up Reach is you have been banned.

This needs to be addressed. I wonder how many people were actually banned? I got one too. Oh well, I have other games I’ve been wanting to start.

Alright, I figured the bans were being handed out to people that used the glitch to bypass the Cr cap, but with the new Custom Challenge payout system, that glitch is now dead. Or as far as I can tell anyway.

I’ll hold off on making challenges for a bit, I made some that were easy/fast to get with good payouts, but if that could be considered cheating… I’d rather not get a ban.
