So I created these animated skins just to get an idea of what they could be like. Note that I am not really for or against animated skins.
I specifically had the idea to do the Didact skin. If you don’t feel like watching the video you can just check out the gif. 
These are cool, just not Halo… if you know what I mean…
I really liked the last one. I wouldn’t mind seeing those in the game.
They look pretty good. Might get a bit confusing if they were in MP. Be cool in custom and forge though.

Fully understand. Like I said in the OP I’m not really for or against animated skins. I’d rather have all static skins.

Not COD it’s Gears and who the hell cares what game it was taken from I love the idea of animated skins it doesn’t affect gameplay and allows players to be different.

Not half bad, digging the Inclement Weather and Didact/Ancient Evil skin.
Good job though i feel the skins should remain static. After all, i doubt we’ll be looking at each others gun that often and could be more distracting than useful.
They shouldn’t move, too distractive.

Personally I don’t like the idea of skins but if they were going to do them this might be the way to go
Gear’s of War did animated skin’s nicely for the most part, if there going to do skin’s This is the way to go.
Here’s to hoping there’s skin’s for the Energy Sword.

As I’ve already stated I’m not for or against animated skins. Just having a little bit of fun.
Static skins are the way to go. Animated is too much.
The Didact symbol and electric storms were awesome, but over all, some amazing work, my friend. Bravo!
