Cursor size

Hi guys.

I play Halo Wars 2 PC Edition on a Windows 10 laptop. It has a 17" display at 4K resolution. I run the game fixed at 30 fps because otherwise my graphics card overheats - I had 2 cards replaced under warranty in the first year since I bought this. Since limiting the frame rate I have had no issues at all with overheating. Anyway, that is irrelevant to my problem, just background knowledge.

My issue is that on the PC version the cursor size is way too small. During big battles when there is a lot happening on the screen I have great difficulty finding and controlling the cursor. It is only about 2-3mm in diameter and particularly when it is red I simply can’t find the damn thing, which makes it difficult to control my troops. It would be appreciated if the devs could add options to the menus to have a larger more prominent cursor. Maybe simply larger, or with crosshairs or thicker lines, or different styles - something to make it easier to spot in a fight.

I have attempted to increase the cursor size before and the only way to obtain a bigger cursor is to reduce the resolution of the game. This should also allow you to increase the frame rate, since 30fps is fairly low for a PC game. 60fps is usually ‘standard’. i use a 4k monitor, but still play on 1080p 6fps. I hope that helps!
