3 months in the making and I’m finally finished!

Is there a way to check the 152 leaderboard?

The overall XP payouts in Mythic Warzone Firefight are significantly greater than in (Heroic) Warzone Firefight. Here are few examples of differences in XP payouts for Mythic Warzone Firefight and Heroic Warzone Firefight at SR150.

Format used:
Heroic XP Payout / Mythic XP Payout
ex. 450 / 1125 (450 xp from Heroic and 1125 XP from Mythic)

Completion
1st: 563 / 1463
2nd-3rd: 450 / 1125
4th-5th: 338 / 900
6th-8th: 225 / 563

Player Rank
Given from time played and constitutes to around 50% of the xp payout. This metric is hard to track exactly but it’s around 2.5 times greater for Mythic Warzone Firefight.

Speed Bonus
Tier A: 1688 / 4500
Tier B: 1125 / 2925
Tier C: 675 / 2250
Tier D: 0 / 0

Completion Bonus
Round 5: 1125 / 2925
Round 4: 900 / 2250
Round 3: 675 / 1800
Round 2: 450 / 1125
Round 1: 225 / 563

Based on the data that I have collected, you will get in average the following XP payout from Heroic and Mythic Firefight if boosts are excluded.

Heroic
Average payout: 5720 xp/game
Average game duration: 14m 40s
Average payout/time: 390 xp/min

Mythic
Average payout: 12460 xp/game
Average game duration: 15m 30s
Average payout/time: 790 xp/min

As you can see, Mythic Warzone Firefight is a lot better in terms of XP payouts.

Thanks so much. I’m already 152, but was wondering.
Wish there were more stats, but when I played on a full team, we were doing heroic games super fast, but we couldn’t do it consistently on mythic.
Also I’m not too sure about your average estimate on heroic xps payout, but it’s been a long time since I’ve played.
Do you get an xp penalty for suicides?
Again, thanks!

The numbers was calculated by recording the xp payout from a total of 21 Heroic Warzone Firefight games without double xp. The games was played at SR147 and SR150. However, I have done one minior correction to the numbers which should increase the estimated payouts per game to 5720 xp/game (+170 xp/game) and the payout by minute to 390 xp/min (+10 xp/min).

In addition to that, I have also recorded the xp payouts from 87 Heroic Warzone Firefight games with double xp and if we the numbers are pretty similar to the numbers without double xp. Here are a more detailed breakdown from these games.

Average xp payout: 11280 xp/game (adjusted to normal payouts: 5640 xp/game)
Average game duration: 14m 50s
Average payout/time: 760 xp/min (adjusted to normal payouts: 380 xp/min)

When it comes to suicides, the number of suicides doesn’t affect the xp payout. The only effect a suicide may have on the xp payout is that the player cannot contribute towards winning the game while being dead and it reduces the chance of reaching a high leaderboard position which may have a slight effect on the xp given under the category “Completion”.

Thanks! I strategically suicided to save time on reqqing up, always thought there was an xp cost.
Betrayals also have no penalty?

Betrayals doesn’t have a direct effect on the xp payout other than that you run the risk of being kicked out of the game which greatly reduces the xp payout from the game (probably nullifies).

+/- 5000 by infinite launch seems such a low number to me for how long this game has been around. Considering i played regularly, but not excessively with an even mix of warzone and arena and finished it in 2.5 years give or take.

worth noting that a majority of the 152s happened after the Watchdog coating was announced. Up until that point there was around a thousand or so IIRC, at that point Guardians had been out for nearly half a decade…

Something we have to take into consideration is that it’s a huge time investment for any player to reach SR152 and it should not be surprising that only a small portion of the playerbase has done a such time investment.

In addition to that, it’s also important to take into consideration the 80/20 rule which essentially states that a small portion contributes to a large portion. If we apply it to Halo 5 ranks, a small portion of the community has collected a majority of the xp. When we look at the population that has collected an impressive 5 million xp, the top 20% of the players has contributed to around half of the xp that the complete population has collected.

Looks like there were 2000 in July of last year (according to this thread history) so roughly half of all 152s so far came after they showed pictures of the Infinite rewards.

Looks like 3,886 is the current total.

When i check Halo Tracker at the ens of July (when i started), there were about 2.8-2.9k 152… pretty impressive that it’s jumped that much in a short amount of time. I’m curious (as has been mentioned)… how many of these “gave up” along the way, and came back to finish because of the rewards in infinite…

I finished it in May 2020 and there was around 1,900 at the time. Start date for me was Jan 2018.

Youre probably right, lots of people probably had gotten to 25 mil or something then quit and came back.

I’m sure it is a lot.

I’ve been checking my place on the list and was surprised how many people have less than 5 million to go that are inactive currently (like the last match was 4-5 months ago at least).

I’ve checked mine as well somewhat regularly (at least once a month)… i too am amazed at how much i jump spots and how close some people are and either just don’t finish… or are that casual that they’ve been playing H5 this whole time and have only made the progress they have

I’d like to congratulate my good friend Chinatown Ben for reaching the incredible mark of 100,000,000 XP and the unofficial 153!

Way to go!

I’m 152 =)

I think we are pretty close (if not already at) 4,000.

Halo Tracker has some real lag when it comes to the XP leaderboards, and I am currently at 3999 with around 400k in experience left to hit 152. However, there are plenty of people listed behind me already over 50,000,000.

Currently, 3946 is the stated total, but I definitely think it is probably on 4k at the moment.
