What’s up, Spartans?
I hope that everyone had a blast playing BTB last night for the first day of Flight #3. After playing around 10 games of BTB last night, I wanted to get your thoughts on Flight #3. What do you think of this weekend’s flight so far?
I, personally, had a blast playing on BTB last night with my buddy who got to play Halo Infinite for the first time! I had some great moments in the game last night with a no scope sniper kill while jumping back and forth with my opponent and a triple kill with the heatwave, which is one of my favorite guns so far.

Had an issue with the game disconnecting before it began and getting banned, that happened twice. But other than that had an absolute blast, I played some social arena and got a Killtacular with the Sniper on Behemoth and got a Killtacular in Big Team Battle using the new Repulsor equipment and the BR.
I love the Big Team Battle, it feels much more like casual Halo. With so many teammates my impact is a lot less so I can have fun and run around the map with my fusion coil in hand, try to throw long range stickies, drive around on the goose, it’s been a blast. I think the AR/Sidekick weapons to spawn was a great design choice. Fragmentation plays really well, like how the flag gets progressively harder to capture after each one which means you’re less likely to get spanked 3-0 in a CTF game.
The social arena feels great too, I’m loving the weapon balancing in the maps. It’s got me very excited to see what competitive Halo will look like.

Me too! I loved playing BTB. I think my favorite scenarios for BTB are either CTF or the complete control objective. I had some wild moments in BTB this weekend. Do you think we’ll get another flight weekend before the game comes out?

I agree with what you said about BTB. I didn’t play any social arena this weekend with my buddy, but we had a blast on BTB. Ah I really don’t know, it’s only 9 weeks. Maybe we will get an open beta. It’s so close anyway, but I feel like they’d have made a big deal about this being the last chance to play before launch.
Some games have a soft launch with the MP in beta. We could even get a Season 0… Where we pretty much get the full multiplayer early. A man can dream. I doubt it but that would get me so hype for campaign ha.

If 343 let us play the multiplayer early with a “Season 0”, I would be SO hyped! I really enjoyed playing the multiplayer with my buddy and I’m ready to jump back in the sandbox when it is available again! I hope it is soon! I do think that we will get at least one more gameplay weekend before the game drops! A man can dream!

What did you personally not like about it compared to previous Halo entries? I’m curious to hear what you think!
