Does anyone know who Ogre 1 plays for? I recently watched him play for Immunity in the 2012 Dallas Pro Circuit, if this is him why wouldn’t he be playing on the same team.
Halo 4 is not on the MLG pro circuit this year. You can find all the current pros competing at AGL events Here.
Ogre 1 hasn’t played Halo in a while. Ogre 2 switched to COD after MLG Dallas.

I thought he played some tournaments last year with his Australian team, but I guess he already stopped playing again.
AGL Knoxville!!!
No notable pros play halo anymore
not competitive so they left.

That’s not entirely true. There’s still AGL and PGL. Those both have pros such as Ninja. There’s just not MLG anymore because it isn’t as competitive.
Yeah, it’s a sad time when CoD is more competitive than Halo…
R.I.P MLG Halo
Cod is not more competitive it’s just they want money.

So igoturpistola, snip3down, formal, heinz, ninja, legit, APG, Ryanoob, Mikwen, and many others are not notable?

It’s become a business. It’s gone from a small, close knit group with tense, competitive matches to being about what puts butts in seats, sponsorships, and what can turn a profit. Makes sense they’d play whatever is most popular, and ‘what the people want’ (Call of Duty, StarCraft, and League of Legends). I recall an interview with Sundance where he said he’d really like to have Street Fighter and other Capcom fighting games on the circuit, but can’t because Capcom almost exclusively runs with EVO, on a worldwide scale that MLG just can’t match, so they were stuck with Tekken Tag 2, Soul Calibur V and Mortal Kombat, but those too, have been dropped.
On the bright side, I do get an ‘Old school MLG’ feel when watching AGL.

And what sucks is that Halo has all the potential to join those top games as well if they hadn’t tried to appeal to Cods fanbase
Also UMG is hosting a tournament in Chicago June 22nd
