ive been playing halo 5 since the day it launched and have certainly enjoyed it, much like I have all the other halo games, because at its root, it’s Halo.
I have been salty, however, about certain aspects of the game and the decisions being made on 343s part. But I do try and remind myself that whether or not things happen the way I want, I can still enjoy playing the game. This free DLC thing has been disappointing, but it is free (as people have argued) which is cool. I can acknowledge the free part as being very super duper cool. BUT obviously, content (which should be part of the initial game cost) was missing at launch. Even if I had to choose one thing to be there at launch, just ONE, it would be the permanent playlists that have always been apart of the game. Or at least from what I remember. (*idk if these playlists were 100% included in halo 3, reach and 4 at launch but I assume so). Team snipers. Team doubles. Social Slayer. And infection.
Even so, I can complain and complain and it doesn’t matter. Because what happened, happened. And it sucks that it happened because I feel the population has severely decreased. But I’m REALLY curious to see what is going to happen AFTER the free DLCs end…will we get permanent playlists (all the ones that have been there at one time or another)? Will we continue to get new maps (I’d prefer map packs as opposed to one arena/WARZONE map at a time)? New armors? Skins? Or will they completely just stop making stuff for Halo. I hope not because the game hasn’t been out for a long time and I want to continue to play it. I don’t want to wait around for halo 6 without being able to really enjoy halo 5.

I’m praying they release a 40 dollar pack that 4 arena original maps and 4 btb maps (sandtrap, Valhalla, blood gulch and spire) non forged and 4 game modes and a falcon and two new guns.in fact id pay anything under 80 bucks fr that

I have no idea what to expect from them to be honest, but I hope more maps, weapons, vehicles and armor.
They have said they will continue with updates after Warzone Firefight. I can’t find the link to the tweet, but it’s out there.

not to take a dump all over ur hopes but he lies a lot. 343 does in general. for example I quote “with the fireteam ai ull feel like ur playing with real people”
I was playing campaign when buck tried to revive me and went down vale tried reving him and went down and tanaka just stood there and looked at a grunt. real people right!
Either it was a reddit forum or a tweet, but there was a post somewhere on this forum that there will be more DLC coming after Warzone Firefight. They might as well test whatever they are going to bring Halo 6 now so it works.

But Sandtrap and Valhallla have already been remade in this game

Halo Wars 2 will be the game that replaces my addiction to Halo 5. Or at least I hope so.

Considering 343’s comment on how they would continue to support MCC after the launch of halo 5, I have to take EVERYTHING they say with a grain of salt.

I just want some more maps, maybe some nice outdoors ones.
they said 16 dlc maps.
we got 6 forge maps in the first two updates.
overgrowth, riptide, urban were remixes.
stasis was a remix.

we only got 4 maps so far guys, and we got lots of remixes and forgeries in the base game as well.
anyone else want update to the graphics. other games do ie dying light and this other aaa I cant remember. y cant 343.
