I’m just curious what Commendations are y’all working on right now. I know a lot of people are finished but as a parent I don’t get the time to game that I used to… I’m down to my last 2 weapons and last enemy those 3 are my main focus RN all 3 are on the last tier. Oh btw they are dmr smg and grunt mech.
I’m not really working on any, but just getting them done naturally. The Targetmaster, Wasp destroyer and then the capture three Strongholds without dying ones are the three that I’m hoping to eventually get done. The last two are almost done, but I know the Strongholds one will take awhile and it doesn’t help that I’m mainly focused on MCC right now with getting achievements done.
Targetmaster, Grunt Mech Slayer, and the Brute Plasma Rifle ones are the main ones I need to complete. Aggressive Expansion, Unstoppable, and Against All Odds are gonna be harder for me to finish.
Grunt mech and target master are all that’s left. Going to take forever to kill 10 more grunt mechs to finish level 5

Seems a lot of people are having trouble finishing off the grunt mech commendation, but there is a way to kill it much faster and usually secure yourself the kill. Use a spartan laser, sentinel beam or binary rifle to shoot of the grunts helmet then headshot him. It works pretty well and you can kill him a lot faster than normal.
I just finished that wretched plasma rifle commendation and I guess I should work on target master next but have been grinding mostly heroic warzone firefight for XP so the grind for target master has been slow. The only other ones I have left relate to either capture the flag, strong holds, or break out. Which I probably will never complete since I don’t care to much for objective games and any version of breakout is complete toilet to me. I probably would have the flag and strong holds done had btb counted towards commendations when H5 first launched but it took them a long time to fix that.

I tried that and still didn’t seem to get the kill. Though admittedly I only tried a handful of times. I have found that the ghost ultra yields decent results stay back at Forest them as it gets closer to death get in close. I actually got 3 in a single game a while back but not too many since. Though I have not been grinding that since castle wars returned trying to finish the 5/5 mongoose destroyer
I have already completed all commendations and focused now on hitting max rank. The hardest one imo would be finishing the breakout one with no deaths.
I’m working on ALL vehicle commendations but, my main focus is Target Master, Brute Plasma Rifle, Sentinel Beam, Spartan Lazer, Flag Returns, CTF Wins, Stronghold Victories and that’s about it.

Well I would recommend not using the h5 br because with the recoil a lot of times wouldn’t give me the headshot for a few bursts. It’s better to use a single shot weapon like a DMR or something. I also had luck using wraiths and scorpions can just take time since the round doesn’t always show up. Usually easier in the early rounds if your able to get your req level up before your teammates can pull anything big
