I’ve been using halowars.com, trying to understand and self-critique myself statistically.
What I don’t understand is the ranking/scoring system as it applies to gaining rank.
Is it simply the “Total Score” on the public section?

The more units you kill, the more points you get, and the less units you lose, the better your score multiplier.
Example: (numbers are not accurate)
you kill three tanks with one tank
100 x 8.40 = 840 points
you kill ten tanks but lose twenty
300 x 2.00 = 600 points
Am I in the ballpark here?
Ranks such as General and Captain are based on your cumilative score from all the matches you’ve played. You’ll need 960,000 to get general these days.
Trueskill rank is something entirely different
