why did they change ctf to where you cant score if your flag is away. there has already been so many games where 2 flag carriers will camp and nothing can get scored for like 10 minutes.

really, i never remembered not being able to score because my flag was away ever. idk i guess in older halos returning the flag was faster but now its harder so i notice it a bit more.
Its an offensive and defensive balance. Not only should you be good at offense but your base should also be defended with its flag at home.
Otherwise it could result in a game where all the teams do is trade caps without even trying to return their flag home. It becomes a game of who can run faster.

yeah that makes sense, im still a little annoyed that the flag (and oddball) arent a one hit kill melee it feels like 3 hits to a kill with it. maybe there trying to promote more teamwork rather than i one guy trying to fend himself off.
