Quick question:
Why does winning a CTF match or a Strongholds match in the BTB playlist not count towards the respective commendation? Seems rather unfair to me.
Maybe because it is considered a social playlist? Just a shot in the dark. Although, I do believe you can work towards those commendations in BTB. Don’t take my word for it though.

You can get the commendation for things like capturing strongholds, recovering the flag etc, but the commendation for the victory does not register (for me at least)
I thought it had changed recently? I’m sure I recieved a stronghold win commendation in Btb last night? I’m easily confused though

It didn’t count when it was ranked. I only played a handful of games in 4v4, and then just played BTB. I didn’t even get the achievements for playing so many games of each gametype until I went back to 4v4.
I’m guessing it was because it was added later and nothing to do with it being social, but BTB has never added to your stats properly. It’s just another glitchy/half finished addition.
