Has anyone ever been spawn trapped on CTF Zealot in the objective play list? I should have kept the film, I think we were under our base and our opponents brought the flag there. One of our team members had quite and they kept two people under drop and one person at ring two.
We were trapped and no way out of spawn with over 5 min left into the game. One out of every 6 spawns I could sprint away but would be two shoot with the person chasing me. It appeared there was no way out of this trap and after 3 Min and about 20 deaths I finally quite.
It would be fun to trap another team in this trap, but I feel it is bad for the play list?
I’m pretty sure once your flag is away from your base the only spawn will be under your base or ring 1. So, a decent team could easily make this very unfortunate for an uncoordinated team.

You can do it yourself if you want, just get good at the game and play with 3 other friends who are good at the game.
The problem is not the game setup or spawn points, it is a problem with the way players are matched causing very unbalanced games. I would recommend asking for true skill restrictions to be tightened, not to have the overall skill gap of the game reduced.
My friends and I do this in every zealot flag game we get. If we want exterms, we vote 2 flag or 2 flag slayer.
If we want high multi kills, we vote speedflag.
scrub! haha jk

Yeah, that started after the TU changed the spawning from dynamic to fixed. Before you couldn’t spawn within 25m of an enemy but now due to static spawning they can just sit behind your spawn with sword and flag and spawnkill you till the round ends since you now can’t spawn elsewhere. I just quit the match when that happens, i’m not going to give some bad player free kills so they can brag about KD later. The easy solution would be to return to dynamic spawning or to at least add more spawn areas.

What are you talking about?
I’ve played about 1,000 games of Team Objective, pre TU and post TU. In fact, if I remember correctly, it was before the TU was applied that the Zealot Spawn trap was discovered. Get your facts right before you try to make incorrect assumptions.
I love gettin 50 kills a game in that gametype it’s great!
