Does anyone know the algorithm that 343 uses to determine if your CSR goes up or not? It has to be something idiotic. I can do the best out of the whole game as a level 45 in swat and beat all levels 47’s+, do better than them in score, kills, and medals and i don’t level up. Next game I come in 2nd place in kills, and a lvl 39 has 2 more kills than me, I win, yet i level down. WTF?
It’s messed up. I came in 1st place in Regicide 3 games in a row and my rank didn’t even move on the “this game” bar. I looked and saw that all of my opponents were way lower than me. So basically they’re saying “if you win you stay the same, if you lose you rank down.” No reason to even play then, nothing to gain. I’d rather sit in the lobby for 20 minutes to find people my rank, then get matched quickly against people so much lower than me. At least then I could have something to gain, rather than have to fight for 1st just to stay right where I am. So messed up. Why did they even release a ranking system for this stupid game?

because people wanted it, maybe?
@Spartan110 JIP counting as losses, getting paired with people miles away from you, rank only viewable on the internet, ranks not updated to the current game, etc. I don’t think this is what they had in mind.
It’s kinda funny that they held back the ranks for 6 months because they were perfecting it and by reading this thread it seems like it’s really broken as most of the things are in this game.
