My performance was great for like 10 matches in BTB and im still at a 49.
The people you have been outscoring in your recent game history suggests that you should be a 50. Play one or two more games, u’ll get there.
dude you’ve made it to 49 and NOW you think CSR is screwed up.
In the past 10 games you’ve had an 8th, 9th, 9th, 12th. Keep playing, keep winning, the highest achievable rank doesn’t just happen.

The only thing not legit about that statement is your definition of “horrible”. By the very nature of how CSR is calculated you must be playing better than the majority of players you are pitted against.
Your great performance in the last 5 games saw you outscored by people you should be outscoring according to the system itself. With this in mind…
Its actually working fine. In 3 of the last 5 matches you were outscored by people with a lower CSR than you, including a match with someone who was a 27 outscoring you. That is going to hold you back. Its not the place you finish according to your “recent games”, as it ranks you based on if your team wins or loses.
For example, if I score 200 points and win, and you score 300 points and lose, I will have a high placement than you on your “recent games”, CSR doesnt rank you that way. Via CSR, you would have outscored me. You, as a 49, shouldnt be outscored by a 27 or a 38.
It is not only on how high you finish, but the CSR of those who finish higher than you. That affects whether or not you move up as you get higher in ranks as the system feels you SHOULD be outscoring people, however most players will be lower than you, so when you get outscored, its going to hurt.
A few more high finishes and you should bump up.
Gyrate, I checked your matches, your slayer scores are consistently in the top 3, you dont do horrible.
Keep playing my friend you will get it,it took me 3 days to get out of 49.
