Before i continue on to my topic i would like to say, i do not wish to start bad feelings or be a troublemaker in any way. i would just like to voice my opinion and see if others feel as i do and if i should be inclined to feel the way i do. now on to my point;
I would like to express that i feel that i think that is taking away from the experience of online matchmaking, as well as the "in the zone"ness?..is that right… to play online in a game with friends and say. “oh i wonder what rank PLAYER1 is… let me get on my phone and use up my data plan to find out.” or “oh let me open up my desktop across the room to look up my stats to see when my next rank is.”
i just feel this way because when i play “competitively” i don’t wished to be bothered with this or that, what have you. i just want to put on my Astros’ and play a few games.
not to mention it is a hassle to get on laptop to get on waypoint to look up mine or anyone elses stats, much less when you are supposed to be choosing a map/game type.
i would also like to point out that, speaking for my self i have my console, my brothers, my laptop as well as both of our android phones on our internet connection. when we go to play online we disconnect our phones and the laptop so there will be no chance for lag or delay. i dont enjoy the thought of having to turn on my laptop to look up a rank or stat that takes, lets say 3 minutes as well as slowing down my bandwidth.
and if you say oh well then use your phone and dont use your wifi. i find that insulting. not everyone has a smartphone, and for those that do, face it most are verison or at&t customers which means no unlimited data. (once again my bandwidth issue). not to mention that the waypoint app is very unresponsive and slow.
and my last two subjects not everyone has direct access to a PC. yes most homes have a few laptops or pcs or what have you in them. but not everyone has one in the same room. or picture this, one laptop four people…
and finally i would just like to say i am appreciative that 343 is wanting to make a CSR playlist i think it is a great idea. as i previously stated i do not mean to be a “flamer” nor do i mean to whine, i am just trying to bring up what i feel is good points.
thank you for taking time to read… i know its very Tl;dr styled lol
do not get me wrong i do believe it is a good idea to have waypoint as a reference to rank, XP, spread whatever. its a great idea, to have as a reference.

Simple fix, get Sprint. UNLIMITED DATA PLAN! MUAHHHAHAHAHA! Done!

you see there is my problem to why i think it is insulting to ask to use cell phones.
one i am a college student, therefor i am broke and have barely anytime to have a good job. which without money… i have a hard time affording lets say… a laptop, better wifi, better phone, or to switch out of my two year contract to a new provider… etc list goes on.

> Use your wi-fi…
as i have stated some people may not have the bandwidth to do so, i know i barely do… i have tons of things in my household that use wifi. i dont need to add more strain to the network

i dont know but i have probably the worst isp in my city, and said city is on the other side of the earth from american and europe, and also like hundreds of kilometers away from australia and new zealand.
and i have, like, 2 laptops, 6-8 tablets/phones and sometimes more connected to the internet while i play xbox.
Reach doesn’t lag.
And, guess what?
If people like you are lazy, and most of the people who shouts and brags and insults others using rank as an excuse, are lazy, we suddenly have a ranking system where people won’t successfully insult others.
i just find it a little ridiculous that a game company, which had spent 65 bucks or however much you spent asks you to use completely unrelated means of connecting to the said game so you can better your experience. even after you have to pay XBL, internet, all the equipment. just seems a little rude that someone would assume that you would or could or should do something so you can better yourself. because you know what assuming makes out of you and i.

i dont really appreciate that you assume that i am lazy, i just do not have the same means as you posses. i am sorry i do not meant your qualifications of what measures a man.
but not the point, i am just saying i run on a 16mbp/s connection, believe me i am in full right to say it is bad… with a 2.4 upspeed.
> With the smartglass integration it shouldn’t be too bad to check stats quickly and easily.
its just an innconvince that shouldnt have to be a third-party member… i agree i is a new step forward thats neat. i also agree is is good for those who want it there… just i feel that there should be a ingame screen for it as well. not everyone has smartphones, not to mention that smartglass only run in 4.0+ droids…

I run with a below-10 mbp/s connection.
Please stop double posting…
Oh, and still, you have to know that they are solving more than they are creating problems.

my goal is not to start problems, i am just stating that not everyone, including myself is able to comply with certian criteria.
and yes you may run at 10 mbp/s but i have to do such with two consoles and 2 laptops one of each i do not own. i did not say i could not meet the requirements for the app or what have you. i just said that i can barely run it… which i do not enkoy that.
i feel you shouldnt have to have more money, or better this or that to have a good experience…
