For those who don’t know CSR is your “Competitive Skill Rank” which goes up and down based on how many points you get in a match or basically where on the leader board you place. KDR, or “Kill Death Ratio” depends on the amount of kills to deaths you get in a match.
Which one do you find a better indicator of who is a better player?
A reason to pick CSR would be that campers and people that stay back can earn a very good, and misleading, KDR, while CSR requires you to be actively fighting during the entire match.
Though a good thing about KDR is that just because someone has more kills doesn’t necessarily mean they played better. For example, someone with say 10 kills 45 deaths might place higher than someone with 5 kills 1 death. The person with the 10 kills will probably rank higher on the leader board and get a better CSR, but with a worse KDR than the player with 5 kills
CSR it show who was actually doing things other than killing.

Oh, I wasn’t aware. Does it count assists or wins?
They can both be manipulated. CSR can be high because a player was carried the entire way or they earned it in an easy playlist. KDR can be artificially boosted by playing certain gametypes and farming for kills. But overall, with the assumption that everything is legit, I would respect a high CSR more than a high KDR, just because getting a 50 requires that extra level of skill and dedication that is not found in the general population.
CSR is for one game mode, KDR is better to tell how someone plays as a whole. But of course its better to play with them before you judge.
