If it is possible, why not make your CSR visible in game to only yourself. That is the best middle ground solution. 343 can avoid the boosters and account sellers because only you can see it. And now everyone does not have to go out to Waypoint to see where they are at.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isnt she essentially saying that CSR can never be implemented “in game” then, to any degree, whether it be visible to user only or to all. This is not good.

I reckon anything is possible, but based on all of the 343 posts I’ve read, I don’t think you’ll ever see Halo 4 display CSR in-game.

Oh I know, that threads fantastic. I wanted to relay this rather important information over there. Seems to me, or at least what I gathered from bs’s short statement is, they don’t even have the ability to implement CSR in game if they even wanted to. Which is good reason why they are putting their heads in the sand in regards to that thread.
Edit: PS. If that is truly the case, its a colossal (game over) failure on their part.

As I recall, I mentioned this post some time ago in the rank thread.
In my opinion, CSR was either a last minute addition or they never envisaged displaying it in-game (in any form). If they did, they would have left a placeholder and given themselves the option to plug it in post launch.
Here here, couldnt agree with you more. But what a poor decision to make, rather shockingly dumb to put it nicely.
