Agreed. Having the ranking system only be visible online is pointless, but at least it shows that 343 is willing to take a step in the right direction, albeit tentatively.
The CSR is the only reason I’m going to purchase the game. I do not care if it is only visible on Waypoint. As long as its Flawless. (It better not have any bugs/glitches after taking THIS long!)
And as for the Forge playlist being removed, Its inevitable because they programmed the MM software to sport a Rotational Playlist Experience… Not my cup of tea, but not gonna complain.

As for the Forge Test, they will be removing it so they can add new maps and modes and bring it back…with a vengeance. I have a feeling it will be the playlist that is the most rotated in and out. I’m thinking here for 2 weeks, gone for 2-3 weeks and so on.

Get over CSR not being visible in game. As long as it performs the way it should ill be happy. And how hard it is to look it up on your phone? Im on my computer 95% of the time im playing anyways. You are so ungrateful.

I am fortunate enough to have my computer and other monitor right next to me so I can easily look them up(no dealing with the slow data/buggy app on the mobile devices)whenever I want. I’ll probably just keep it open while I play and refresh every so often to see what’s going on.

I wouldn’t bet on it, Slayer Pro isn’t back yet.

and that is important why? If they are the same, higher or lower - will you quit? play harder? ease up? set your spawn trap? rush the Splaser?
I totally disagree with their decision to have it Waypoint only. This doesn’t achieve anything except make it annoying for us to view our CSR progress. Why have our SR experience level but not CSR?
This is like one of those obvious mistakes on the lead up to H4 like the new CTF rules or JIP or ordinance drops… but its happening right now. I’m really surprised that 343i hasn’t learned anything from the launch of H4 and community feedback.

What does PC Gaming have to do with this game and CSR…?

I don’t play maps with splasers.
I just reread the bulletin and it says this. The way I interpret this is that it will be very much like Halo 3’s ranked playlist. Your highest rank will be promoted on waypoint.

We have been working closely with several internal teams on optimizing the ranking system, and working to integrate it into your Waypoint player profile, accessible on web, phone and tablet.
More Details:
• You will have a unique CSR <mark>visible</mark> per playlist.
• Your highest CSR across all playlists will be promoted in the player profile on Halo Waypoint.
• CSR uses familiar 1-50 scale.
• When CSR launches, everyone will start with a fresh rating.
Our targeted launch date for CSR is April 2013, and we will be re-configuring some of our most competitive playlists to accommodate the launch of the feature.
