The fact is, if you actually understood this topic, is that he and many others want a visible ranking system.

No, it is to start conversation and ideas about the title.
His post does not directly apply to any one person, and it certainly has no barring on why “We should care”. He posted just for the sake of posting, it has nothing to do with you or your ideas.

No you yoink I was commenting on the game being dead to him. No one cares about that and he doesn’t need to add to the flood of similar topics of “RIP Halo” or “I’m done”.

Except this thread isn’t meant to “start conversation and ideas about the title”, it’s meant to start another pointless flamewar. I’m sure “This game is dead to me” might seem like an intelligent post to most of the haters on this forum, but it’s actually not, believe it or not.

For one, I highly doubt the author was expecting this thread to be an extremely serious post. A “Serious” post would be the type of person that types 8 paragraphs in the OP and explains their view with deep meaning.
His “One sentence post” as you put it, should be enough evidence that he simply wanted to make other players aware of the fact.
It is not spam, he has a right to post whatever he wants.
Furthermore, what do you mean by “You people”? Are you speaking of the part of the community that wants visible ranks? Or are you talking about the entire Halo forum community?
