The whole having to go to waypoint just to check if u went up a rank is frustrating and time consuming its like winning a trophy and hiding it in your closet.whats the point. 343s excuse is to stop boosting and cheating and what not. Its going to happen anyway. And even then with all of that halo 3 was still way more fun. The franchise is dying and its obvious why. I cant believe one of the greatest games has a low population compared to what it used to have. 343 open your eyes stop ruining the game and just make it regular old school halo!!!

This excuse has been addressed. There have been at least a half-dozen different suggestions posted on how to mitigate boosting and account selling. Here are a couple for S&G:

Rank decay - If you don’t play, your rank will slowly go down.
Service record-only - CSR is displayed so that no one but the player can see it.

Whatever people might think, cheating is a marginal issue and is not as widespread as Microsoft and 343i would have us believe.
