I’m level 16 for CSR on Infinity Slayer Our team loses while i have 12 kills the others are like 5 kills and 4 and one quit. while the main guy on the other team has 34 kills. I look him up and he’s CSR 39. I thought CSR was to put us with players our skill rank not random players like before.
Infinity Slayer uses individual performance to calculate your CSR, not W/L. Thus its not a true representation of your Trueskill like the playlists that do use W/L and you might have large gaps in players rank. That and 343i’s system will eventually loosen player restrictions if its taking too long to find a match.

39 in what playlist? I looked at your game history and it seems as though in most of your matches you are paired up with people around your CSR. I do see the occasional 1, which I assume is because they could not find a match for them.
There’s not enough people searching at any one time to get good matches but the ranking system in team slayer is based on your individual score not win/loss so don’t worry.
As for matching fair teammates be thankful you didn’t match against my team(s) today haha, i got a 50 by beating mostly teams of level 1-20’s maybe the odd high 40 but not one loss today not really one close game. The only time we/I lost was lagging out.
The system just ranks you after the game against all players so… as he was a higher rank he will have been expected to beat you so you shouldn’t rank down hard.
In essence there’s not enough people to get fair games but it shouldn’t affect oyur rank 
This has been happening to me in doubles alot when i search by myself i get level 1’s on my team and even if i get 20 kills i still lose
