Since the CSR was implemented for Halo 4, I have really made an effort to get my rank to go up. I mostly play Big Team and I am not the best player, but I am doing better, but my rank - just sits there. I went from 4 to 7 kills, 60 to 90 points; to 9 to 12 kills 130 to 200 points - yet no movement. I have consistently been winning like 4 out of 6 with placement in the top 6. I see that others can have 25 kills 300 points and are also CSR 1 for many days also. Should I care or just accept this CSR ranking is meaningless?
Seeing as CSR means absolutely nothing in the game and was implemented to late don’t even worry about it. Just play the game the same way you always have.
You have to have the most points out of all the lobby to rank your CSR up in BTIS.

while csr is a joke, its a joke in the sense that its incredibly easy to reach a 50.
i just looked at your game history, almost all of your games are single digit # kills. you really dont deserve to rank up at all judging by your games played. sorry.

Not entirely true. It is all relative to how well you do in comparison to other players in the game and their CSR ranks are factored in as well. Going down for doing well and going up for playing poorly are common.

No you don’t. You need to be somewhere around the top 4 I believe it is and have relatively close or higher ranked players in the game. I’ve ranked up after being 4th.
How about when the top few guys (myself included) get ranked as: “CSR for this game: 1”…and guys near last or in last place get ranked as: “CSR for this game: 4”…? Clearly the system is broken
