I know there are already a ton of other posts regarding complaints with CSR, but I just felt that I should voice my annoyance as well.
I recently played four games of doubles (where team W/L is suppose to be the only thing accounted in the formula for CSR).
My partner started as a level 16 and I was a 19. After winning our first three games, my partner ranked up to lvl 17, yet I fell to 18.
Then, after losing our final (fourth) game of the night, I fell to a 16 and he remained a 17…and if the rank system is truly a game behind, then that loss hasn’t even been accounted for in the CSR calculation.
So my question is, how is it possible I dropped three levels after three consecutive wins and one loss, while my teammate went up one?
Please look into this 343. I do appreciate the CSR (even if it’s only on waypoint) and would like the system to run as efficiently and fair as possible.
There is a massive problem with CSR!
I have been playing a lot of Big Team Infinity and so has my friend, according to our player comparison I have 6305 kills and 4533 deaths, he has 3220 kills and 2731 deaths, putting my KD at 1.39 and his at 1.18, I also have twice the medals he has, over 8000 more! I have also won twice as many games as he has PLAYED! Yet his CSR is 23, and mine is 18!
I do not understand how his CSR can be higher than mine while I have the better KD and have won more games of Big Team Infinity.
It actually isn’t a problem with CSR itself, it has to do with a delay between actually counting the games you’ve won it is like a 2 or 3 game delay so if you win twice in a row and then lose one it takes 2 more games for those to actually count towards your rank. That is how it was in H3 as well.

Well thats very easily explained by the fact CSR only just came out so those stats don’t reflect what you’re being ranked on. Also medal count and win count obviously have nothing to do with skill because they are totals that tick up over time whatever you do.
