It’s good that it’s not based on W/L. Randoms can’t help that their team mates are terrible, nor should CSR be based on team work (it’s individual skill).

It’s also good that it’s based on score and not just kills. Things like assisting are a big deal.

But DEATHS must be taken into account and because CSR pretends as if that entire category no longer exists, it fails. And it fails miserably.

In no way, shape or form should the kid who respawns and races off to his death 22 times in a single game, while spraying DMR/Sticky Grenades in hopes of getting a kill (13 of them to be precise) rank ahead of another player who just went 15-2.

This is a joke.

For many CSR was Halo’s last stand. It’s no surprise to see that it failed to bring people back and/or even sway the general population’s morale. It’s broken, like the rest of the game.

Some dude - 300 pts | 18 kills | 4 assists | 20 deaths
Me - 280 pts | 18 kills | 9 assists | 7 deaths
Some dude - 275 16 kills | 4 assists | 24 deaths

This is absurd. This ranking system encourages people to play even more stupid than the actual game mechanics do. It’s almost intolerable.

Well that problem has been around since before CSR. You would rank up more for going 25-20 than for 14-1 lawl.

You’re totally right.

Dying 24 times is a sign of excellent game play ability.

Dude, deaths should REDUCE points. -5 per death. I don’t know how/why this wasn’t implemented to begin with considering you can get 5 points just for sinking a single DMR shot into someone that the game usually assists you with anyway.

You’re right. CSR is broken, just like everything else in this game. It is more broken than Call of Duty’s matchmaking “procedure.” At least Activision can make a game that doesn’t drop players b/c the game won;t look for a better host
