343i the fact that you are not going to have CSR visible in game means everyone is going to complain about it when you launch it. So why not just launch it. The game will be 6 months old with a population around 30k by April. I dont understand why you are waiting that long to release something EVERYONE is going to complain about anyways. I think it will drastically cut down on the quitting in Throwdown if rankings are out, but there is not going to be a population left if you keep waiting. You promised before the game was released it would be January. (this is WHY I spent $60 on this game after Reachs atrocious ranking system) This is ridiculous. 5 months is long enough launch CSR.
343 have spent the last couple of months collecting data from MM to figure out the best way to implement it. Adding now CSR will be useless if it doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to.
However, I do agree that it should have launched with the game along with a competitive playlist/s and been tweaked after launch.
April 1st as an April fools joke. Mark my words.
> As of right now, we’re planning on releasing Team Throwdown, our premiere competitive playlist on February 18th. As we mentioned earlier, this playlist will be launching ahead of CSR so the Matchmaking team has time to tweak the playlist’s settings and options before everyone begins the race to level 50.

> Our targeted launch date for CSR is April 2013, and we will be re-configuring some of our most competitive playlists to accommodate the launch of the feature.

The question shouldn’t be whether it is the beginning or end of April. The way 343 drip feed it should be whether it will be April 2013 or April 2014?
