CSR and Resetting Stats

It has came to my attention that within the next few weeks new CSR system will be implemented (small cheers!!). Coinciding with the implementation of the CSR system all of our stats will be reset. BS Angel was quoted saying, “players will start with a clean slate when CSR launches, so they can “enjoy” the journey of their progression.”

I have been playing Halo4 since launch and enjoy my stats. I feel that the stat reset should be optional akin to Call of Duty and most other first person shooters system of stat reset. Being that I have put countless hours in Halo 4, I am not sure if I will continue to play if my stats are reset. I have worked too hard to go back to zero.

I think you’ve misunderstood it.

The CSR is working now, this very moment, giving us ranks and everything, but they are tweaking it, changing stuff in the background to make it good.

So, when they launch it, we allready have CSR stats, those are the stats they will reset, nothing else will be reset.

If I’m wrong, please do correct me.

I honestly couldn’t care, I never look at my stats.
They aren’t worth the time to try to perfect.

As long as the reset doesn’t affect my commendations, I’m good.

You’ve misunderstood what she meant.

Your trueskill numbers/history in the background will most likely be wiped clean, but we never saw them anyway so it doesn’t really matter.

They’re certainly not going to wipe any of the stats we’re used to seeing in the waypoint app.

Your visible stats so far won’t be reset. Just your current CSR rank.
