CRS Ranking

I don’t get the csr ranking I know that it means kinda how good you are at that game type but how do you get a better one, how does it judge you by score, deaths or what? Please explain

From what I understand it’s different for some playlists. Some of them rank you by your teams overall score and performance while others just rank you by your own skills. I’m not sure if that’s 100% correct but I’m pretty close.

CSR also is always one game behind, so if you play a game and get something like 30 kills but don’t see any change in your rank then just play another game and you’ll see the updated score for your previous match.

Obviously the higher you are the more difficult it becomes to rank up, depending on your skill level of course.

That dos not seem fair to get a team csr rank.

It depends on the Playlist. Games like Slayer and SWAT looks at your individual score per game. Objective games like Grifball and CTF are based on wins and losses. Here’s a link to the Bulletin introducing CSR for more info:

The Halo Bulletin

CSR is decided in two different ways depending on the playlist: individual (Infinity Slayer, Team Snipers, Rumble Pit) and team-based (Capture The Flag, Ricochet, Team Throwdown).

Individual CSR ranks players based on their individual scores, regardless of if they were on the winning or losing team.

Team-based CSR ranks players based on win or lose, regardless of their individual scores.

If you quit a game, you are ranked as the lowest-scoring player in individual CSR playlists, and the game counts as a loss in team-based CSR playlists.

CSR is also always a game behind.

Thanks every one!
