This post is simple. Kevin Franklin state in the mlg live stream that they are looking for competitive feedback to make the system better and to look at the best way to implement it. So instead of flamers, haters, and people against rank. Lets make this a positive feedback thread.
What do you guys wanna see in this CRS system. And that should be the only comments. Keep it clean.
Increase the number of skill ranks, and/or adjust their math to separate players better at level 50. I don’t want a repeat where a decent player like me ends up getting matched with MLG’s top elite with no chance of survival only to move down and back up the rank to 50 and bounce inconsistently between a set pool of players.

Sort of like what SWTOR did: when you hit lvl 40, pvp was only 40-49 and 50’s got their own match system according to his/her skill amongst others. BTW LVL 50 was max lvl, idk now since SWTOR is pretty much abandoned lol
If you do a 1-50 system. MOST players should be around level 25… only the ABSOLUTE BEST should make it to 50… remember… the best make 50… 45+ are really skilled. 40+ are pretty good. 35+ better than average. 30+ pretty good. 25 is average… below that is lower than average.
A suggestion I would make is actually ranking up according to a statistics and win comparison. That if you face someone who is an MLG pro or whatever, even if you go negative, you gain contribution to the fact you faced someone both stats and win ratio better then you.
Beyond that, if you trounce someone less then you, you don’t advance the higher rank meter as much, maybe even half the normal numbers needed to actually rank. The idea of higher skill rankings is someone is always out there and is better then you. If it can be done, try and match players of higher and higher skill sets when we are in the one year mark of Halo 4. To clarify what I mean: when entering a match in an identified competition playlist, players of all similar calibers are present and ONLY those kinds of players. This I found in Arena early seasons where only top 30% gold users were in a single match and they all were higher percentages then myself. This is ideal and arguably the best match pairing I had on Reach when searching solo.
At the beginning? Win/Loss, precision weapon usage, etc. should be automatic primary factors, but I’ll leave that others to determine.
Obviously fairness is big and also it should take a good amount of skill to actually reach ranks of skill once you get up there. I’d like to be respected for my rank and not thought of as a booster or a no-lifer, etc just because of stereotypes.
I usually play by myself and none of my friends are good enough to play with after a certain point, so it would be cool if somehow they could do something like searching for non-party team games somehow. Similar to CoD Team Deathmatch mercenaries, but without a separate playlist because that would kill the population I think.
