Crouching button

So what do you want for a crunching button?
Analog stick or B. Me personally I prefer B because it makes it easier to crouch for a long period instead of holding the stick down.

Analog. I play with the Recon setting, as I change between Halo’s frequently (not having Recon made Halo 2 kind of annoying, though). It’s just habit for me.

I’d rather have this, which renders the above question moot.

I’d prefer the B button. I turn on the Toggle Crouch so I only have to press it once.

The first FPS game I played was Halo so I feel more use to pressing the analog stick to crouch.

I like analog because A) I don’t set it to toggle so it’s always at my grab, and B) it basically simulates crouching in itself!

Analog. One of the reasons I don’t like halo 4 is because the B button is to crouch. When it was the analog stick, I didn’t have to take my right thumb off of the right analog stick which is used to aim.

I prefer to keep it pressed so it seems I have to sacrifice aiming for crouching.

I play with my controls set to default except in Halo 3 & ODST. I’ve just gotten so used to the RB being melee. Halo Reach, Anniversary, and Halo 4 pretty much have the same controls except for crouching and flashlight / armor ability, and I like that feel. The closet I can get in Halo 3 only switches the function of “X” & “B”, so “X” to change grenades and “B” to reload. I’ve gotten very used to it.

Halo 2 is now the only Halo where I can’t have and “RB” melee.

But anyway, on topic, I like “B” button crouch.

You are aware that if you change to the Recon controller setting it allows you to use the analog stick to crouch, right? Its basically the same settings as Halo 3 and Reach’s settings, so no need to use the B button for crouching.

yeah but I’m too used to default to switch now I’d rather just use B to crouch than have to learn an entire new controller layout. Plus I mostly play reach where this problem doesn’t exist.

I always use toggle crouch in games where I can, so I’d prefer the analog stick, so I don’t have to take my thumb away from the aim.

Recon with toggle crouch all the way. Why would you ever use B to begin with? This is Halo, not your Battlefields or Call of Duties lol.
