With the release of CE on PC today it has me thinking that i would probably enjoy a cross play feature between PC and XBOX. There has been a few complaints about the population of MCC and not being able to find games, maybe an antidote to this would be to bring the future PC Halo players to play with and against us console players. I don’t see the harm in bringing both communities together to build a bigger population!
I understand i am not a 343 employee or anything near a game developer so i don’t know the logistics of making this happen, i just think it’s a good idea.
Pro’s - Bigger Population, Easier to find matches (especially in Ranked)
I understand people think it will be harder to play against a PC player because of keyboard and mouse, but i’m not convinced.
Does anyone else share my enthusiasm for this idea?

As is the case with many other games, crossplay is usually something that can be simply flipped on/off with a virtual switch. That is especially true for Xbox/PC. I imagine there are some deeper concerns keeping crossplay off for the time being. Examples could be poor balancing between MKB vs. controller, potential security vulnerabilities that have yet to be ironed out, etc. I don’t think 343i would keep the feature off unless there was a real reason to do so, given how committed they have been to revitalizing the classic games recently.

Wait… so its not even sure if it comes . _ . thats kinda sad. Was the main featurei remember they talked about i guess it was just wish dreaming.
Nah, it’s on the backlog - it’ll come. It’s just a matter of time. Don’t be shocked if they just announce it out of nowhere one day. I really don’t think that they’ll drop Halo 3 on PC without it being crossplay.
I never ever want PC players in multiplayer… To easy to hack and mod from PC so console gamers would never stand a chance. If it’s only customs then fine but general multiplayer, no way.
