Crossplay is unacceptable and aim assist is nonexistant on console

I’m currently playing on a controller where
If I don’t touch anything, it spins right
If I look right it goes up,
if I look left it goes down,
if I melee, I have to pray that it even tries to melee because of the controller being that broken then if it does decide to work hope it connects due to the broken melee.

Anyway, even with this controller, the aim assist is much less than H5 because H5s aim assist was stupidly high but is absolutely fine and rewards skill. The only issue with kbm is their ability to 180 in one flick of the wrist - not bothered, bring it on and stop making excuses.

Swap controllers with my let down by Amazon back side and see something to complain about.

In the smaller maps controller on a PC is a pretty beast mode setup. For the big battle yea I can see the difference long distance. For that mode it could suck, I have not played it though as I do not really like the big map modes.

The fact you can’t provide a link to evidence against the accepted statistics is all I need to know. You just need to give up or gitgud. Everyone agrees PC Controller is the best.

I disagree, KBM really doesn’t help out much in Halo. Maybe for other Shooters? But in this game no, I mean I play on PC but I legit still use a Controller. If you tweak your settings well enough Aim Assist becomes more of a liability, and you can actually out-perform someone using a Mouse/Keyboard. Halo was built to be used with a Controller.

Keep the Crossplay as is, its fine.

Every time you say look up 1 reply, it’s farther away. Don’t play Halo if you aim as bad as you count. Virtually every person in the comments is against you on this. Controller on PC is the best. You’re just in denial for some reason.

I think the problem is they are pleasing no one with their current system. On controller (at least on console) they lowered aim assist, and now the game doesn’t feel like what people want it to. But there still plausibly is an advantage afforded to controllers, so MNK players aren’t happy either. For quick play I don’t think it’s that big a deal, you can’t see your rank there, and SBMM will hopefully put you against people of similar capabilities, regardless of if it takes them less skill to have those capabilities. But in ranked people aren’t going to be happy if someone has an advantage, and someone likely always will.

I don’t know the perfect solution, maybe MKB should have some aim assist as well. Maybe crossplay should be totally optional even with a full party. I don’t have the answers, but I do know that neither MNK or controller players are happy, so good job on the balancing 343.

I have used both controller and kbm for this game. Controller is 100% easier to hit shots with, especially precision weapons like br and sniper.

Problem could be easily solved if they didn’t force crossplay. Fact is PC players will always say console is unfair and Console will always say PC is unfair. They shouldn’t force us to play together. The fact is people can’t get along cross platform and will always go to the forums and cry about each otger

I play console and I was surprised to see that I ranked higher playing cross play vs solo/duo controller.

I play more solo/duo controller ranked :trophy:

My rank was by a whole rank higher when I qualified for both I was the rank before platinum for console and close to diamond for cross play.

I think I read that the two modes have different buffs, but I was still surprised.

Also I heard console players have an advantage in infinite, usually it’s the other way around :upside_down_face:

Hey man he started the trash talking like 8 replies ago. I grew up on Xbox Live, I know he knows what he was doing. My initial argument was that the majority of people agree that PC Controller is by far the best way to play Infinite, and almost every player, YouTuber, Streamer, competitor, etc, including data miners and stat trackers, will be included in that agreement. He wanted to be uncivilized, so I just kept pace. All I needed from him was a link to evidence that every single person that says otherwise is wrong, and the data is wrong, but he wanted to trash talk instead. I’d much rather keep the topic on topic.

I don’t see many people with Xs in their names anymore, it’s pretty oldschool. I see a lot of ll username ll bars these days. I guess that’s the new X. Trust me, I didn’t join the forums to trash talk, I joined to debate topics of interest and give/read feedback to 343 and other users with similar issues. Not everyone will always agree on topics, but I believe there’s enough evidence to put PC Controller as the indisputable best option atm. That doesn’t mean it should be. 343 messed up. They need to balance the controls so that no side is objectively the best way to play, but all are equally viable in social matchmaking. In Ranked, well, you can’t really fix ranked. Most people don’t care about ranked and just play Halo for fun, and that’s where it’s important. Ranked has divided control type matchmaking for that reason.

I’ll be playing social playlists and customs in MCC with my friends like I’ve done for 20 years. Lucky for me, you only care about ranked, so I don’t have to worry about you wasting a slot in BTB since you care more about your precious KDA than enjoying the game.
