Crossplay is unacceptable and aim assist is nonexistant on console

Having Crossplay be forced is ridiculous. Especially when the aim assist is basically turned off for Console. PC gamers have a clear and unfair advantage being able to cross map with guns like the pistol, Commando, and BR while console gamers struggle to hit regular shots. I’ve heard over and over that the aim assist is insane for Console but I’ve played FPS my entire life. There is next to no aim assist in Halo Infinite. That is an indisputable fact.

I have no idea where this stuff comes from. Console players clearly have more reliable hit detection, and I can bet you money right now the majority of people beaming me with a sidekick across the map fully spammed are on console. I check these things and have been keeping a tally.

We disagree elsewhere, but here? We are of the same mind.

I don’t even know if I’ve encountered KBM players. But they are not such a danger.

That’s funny you say that since there is no way to check what input a player is using. Also the fact still stands that console players have to play with a handicap that is unprecedented in FPS gaming. I’ve never seen a game where Crossplay is turned on with no way to deactivate it and the one thing that evens the playing field for console players is ripped away so PC can play on easy mode

Uh if anything there is too much autoaim. Try using a BR on a controller and then use it on a mouse.

You can easily identify someone using K&M, especially when he’s going with the gun and taking you down like he’s wearing a BR.

How can you say it is an indisputable fact when there are multiple posts with evidence saying the opposite? Go and get some data to show what you are claiming, you just look silly saying it’s a fact because “I’ve played FPS games for a long time”.

I’ve played FPS for my whole life too, I definitely feel the aim assist and it’s actually very easy to prove it exists, just walk left and right in front of an enemy.

Change your settings, I found the default was horrible and enjoyed it a lot more after fiddling with it. I get you’re mad, but come on.

Turn speed is a dead giveaway.

We have strong aim assist when at long range I guess??? with certain weapons but at close range or even medium it is terrible to use small cross haired weapons, there’s stick, but no ease in, so like most players won’t even be affected by the help they’re supposedly getting, unless it’s an AR or giant cross hair, since the whole aim assist system is reliant on crosshair size.

Someone never tried getting 5 perfects on kbm before, for the Chef’s Kiss challenge. Aim Assist on console is beefy, and the Halo Tracker stats prove that controller players have much higher accuracy and headshot accuracy than kbm. Mouse actually isn’t very accurate in Infinite, and it’s super easy to miss headshots and sniper shots, but the redeeming quality is that the camera moves fast and fluid. It’s still up to the player to actually be good at it, but no competitive players use kbm because aim assist is too good to give up.

Eh, I always find that the KBM players are better with the marksman weapons on average, only time they aren’t is when someone is playing on a sensitivity I find painfully slow

I am always top frag every match and play console without trying. Get good.

There is aim assist but it only seems to kick in while you are standing still, Xbox studios has a horrible habit of forcing crossplay at launch and far into its life to just then give players the option to turn it off far too late when the player base has started to die down

343 need to take a page from Destiny’s crossplay book here and only have it active when someone in your group is using KBM then it should put you into a crossplay lobby. That should be it

Non of this input based match making over platform based, usually i do not mind crossplay but when i a player using KBM can 180 turn on me instantly and land all their shots because of a different input method i will opt out instantly

there is a lot of people that say they cant tell when they are up against PC players but its reall easy to see a warthog turret turn instantly or a wasp/banshee just spinning around like some sort of suger rushed toddler

Yes you can, you simply pull up their name in the Xbox game bar search Option

I agree with the crossplay needs an off option. but the aim doesn’t feel off, the flight 1st and 2nd was way more off. this feels right, at least for me.

Console aim assist is super low. It is in fact PC controller aim assist thats beefy, as its a different config cause of no red reticle.

Thats why controllers have higher accuracy. Not because of Console players.

Completely agree and there is no PC troll that will change my mind. Been playing fps pretty much exclusively since day one Halo CE and will say I have noticed aim assist kick in a handful of times but it is Completely random when it does. Other than that 0%, adjust the assist back to what it was in the previous titles and give the option to disable cross play. This way all the PC players that think it’s such a huge advantage can just play other m+kb players and us console players don’t have to worry about all the cheaters.

There’s more aim assist on console because of crosshair magntism and bullet magnetism.

Also crossplay is an amazing thing because it ends the divide between players. I can finally play with my console friends.
