Crossplay/input on FPS games doesn't work

I’m not here to argue for either side. Just wanna give my opinion.
Remember the days when you would just play Halo with people on the same platform, same input?
I do, was much more fun.

With a game as sweaty as Halo Infinite, (quickplay is still sweaty) I ask how could the devs think that it wouldn’t kick up a fuss to give controller players aim assist and bullet magnetism, but mouse gets none?
I would much rather be able to let the game track someones head then have to actually do it myself.
It just doesn’t work, we need the game seperated by input.

It’s such an easy solution that requires literally 0 effort in balancing, because there’s nothing to balance!
It would end the debate so quick and then we could move on to giving feedback on the parts of the game that actually need addressed!
Like the lack of game modes, maps, player choice and progression.

I’m completely for having cross-play on by default (for population reasons) and an option to disable.

This is the way. At least in my opinion. Give the player the option. There are definitely people who want to play with their friends cross play and open input. They have already given these options in the solo/duo ranked queue.

Quickplay isn’t sweaty because of crossplay, quickplay is sweaty because of MMR and skill-based matchmaking.

Have you tried playing on a lower mouse sensitivity? Most people I have seen play too high and that’s why their accuracy isn’t very good.

Even on controller I play really low sensitivity.

Fully agreed! Don’t really understand why for a FPS in 2021 we still have to “ask” for it.

MNK Doesn’t work like that I’m afraid, just to turn around you’d have to swing your mouse across the desk 6 times before doing a 180.

I play mnk on low sens and have a similar accuracy to controller. Which I think is mad as I have like 5 hours on mnk total.

Halo is not a game you should ever really need to 180.
