This isnt entirely true my guy as all xbox can do is get better specs theirs not much in terms of upgrading what it can do but as tech gets better it can and probably will be shoved into whatever form of console we get even if headgear is our next step and vr dives are the future.
The hate just comes towards the vast majority of cheaters and the huberous of those that refuse to acknowledge the actual advantages they do have. I have equal skill level on xbox friends that also play pc and while it’s a hard fight on console if they get on pc I’m blown out the water every time I cant keep up with their precision only time it’s a fair fight would be a grifball game with hammers and swords due to their game input delays.

As someone who uses them I can personally say it’s not all the hype it let’s you get maybe 1-2 second faster response times when you dial in the triggers through the app. You can button map for easier use turning buttons into other buttons or even the triggers into a,b,x,y and vice versa, the paddles allow for 4 extra buttons the most sense being a,b,x,y so you dont have to remove your thumb from the right joystick, and then you get the ability to fine tune the thumbstick sensitivity but it doesnt change overall look speed. So not much of an advantage outside of other xbox controllers which I’ve seen easily offset by just being naturally good or having faster hand eye coordination

I already totally discredited this video as you are using different FOV so it is totally irrelevant in a test because it is clearly not a balanced test. Why are you continuing to use this flawed evidence as proof when it’s not?

so what there are 1-2 second faster its still notting since i have also a elite controler and its all about timing if you press the good button on the right time and see him fast before he see you.
there are also special game mouse for pc players there can use so its the same and there have sometime more options then a elite controler has so its not about that.
since i have also a gaming mouse that has 8 macro options thats the double what my elite controler has so its not about that since there are also versions of gaming mouse that have 12 marco options you can set up.
the big reason in the concole community is there hate the cheaters from the PC community and thats the big reason why a lot off people in the conocle community hate crossplay since there not wane play with cheaters in there game and since its almost 100% from the PC community is there more hate against then since its thanks to the people that need cheats to win the match’s and cant do without it.

I understand the hate towards pc players it’s the main reason I quit playing warzone. But even activision knew if it didnt do something it would have a dead game that didnt make a lot of money. 343 is using the original ban hammer which statistically has a good record of banning cheaters it was developed by bungie after all. Though these days that doesnt count for much in 343s hands. If I had to guess I’d say there has been no real improvement to the system as it still knocks you hard for a disconnect in an age with heavily varying internet’s and constant problems among those. Couple that with how some players like myself know we have about 1 or 2 games we can quit without incurring a serious ban and that leads to some problems. So all in all the ban system theyre using needs an upgrade to match with how resourceful cheaters amd cheat creators have gotten. That’s how we deal with that but the performance side of things is where were taking a heavy loss. After all pc has better power supply game coding CPU speeds and button and sensitivity mapping. It’s more about what they can do that we cant. After all their main complaint is aim assist and bullet magnetism (the magnetism is a friggin joke and doesnt actually exist) but aim assist is easily gained by connecting a controller limiting your look speed and button mapping. That levels out the controls but not the performance. Most xbox players like someone has mentioned are using standard TVs which dont need a high refresh rate so you start dealing with a bit more tv lag over time its milliseconds but every second does count when a pc monitor refreshes at usually 4 to 5 times faster for reasons unknown to me at least. Which can give an actual competitive edge cheating is rudimentary and can be easily dealt with just by blocking someone from recent players. So relax look at every individual part logically and compile them together to see the big picture not just a sometimes an insignificant or minor problem
I’m calm as hell. If it’s controller only, it’s whatever. But right now it’s unacceptable. An option to disable crossplay or lock them into using a controller is what needs to happen. Like the mcc.

i not know if you are a pc player or play on concole but if you are a pc player then i feel sorry for you that for any legit pc player needs to deal with it always.

like make the game F2P for multiplayer only is a big mistake since Warzone has show good that its a open ticket for cheaters you not wane have in your game so the legit pc players are doomd by that mistake all.
and the force crossplay system to make it also worse for the concole players that have make clear that there give notting about crossplay system in halo infinite matchmaking BUT there only agree it on 1 condition and that was and is still that it most become a option thats the only condition the concole community have make clear to accept crossplay.
but there not have done it and now are the concole players are also doomd with the PC cheaters by the mistake’s there have been make.
My guy go back through the thread read some of my comments you’ll know I’m not a pc player and dont advocate for them. A lot of what you’re saying I also have to decode. I’m not sure if your english isnt great or whatnot but I’m having a hard time understanding all of what you’re saying. So I’ll just do my bulletin for you to understand my stance
- I’m not a pc player just an honest to god console player have been since the fatboy of the og xbox even when I had tiny child hands
- I want an option not an entire removal of the crossplay feature I have too many friends I do play with in custom games and ranked
- the f2p aspect doesnt bother me the store compensating for this does
- The game has so many damn problems it should just be considered an unfinished game by community standards at the minimum
- PC players need to quit lying to themselves and the community about the advantages they do actually have vs their one disadvantage that is easily solved by connecting a controller
- The ban system needs to be reevaluated like xbox’s relationship with activision was (this is a pun but still a serious issue)
- PC cheaters need to also be checked which should include disconnecting your controller for a mouse and keyboard in ranked game modes as this is manipulative of the games core systems.
- The battle pass needs reevaluation to include earning premium currency like the industry standard this is the first battle pass I’ve seen that doesnt allow you to earn the currency needed to buy it
- The matchmaking systems needs a proper reworking in all social modes weather it be a separate tracker from our more competitive sweaty ranked games or something else
- 343 needs to stop lying about being halo players making halo better for other halo players. They’re people making a game for shareholders to make more money
- The community needing to actually come together and give them enough s**t that we show the shareholders that pleasing us to make more money is the better way instead of forcing it and making folks not like you or the company you’re using as a face
i am also not a PC player since i play shooter game’s on the xbox and not on the PC.
and only play MMORPG game’s on the pc so to make that also clear.
thats something that we all wane see from the start and something that has been point out years ago all that it most becoming a option so i not understand why there not do anything with it.
same thing i cant understand why there have wait with the release of the multiplayer if it got a lot off problems still but thats something we never going to know so we have to deal with it and wait for it for update’s to fix it.
this discusion is keep going on so long there is force crossplay and not has become a option.
in the end i only care is that i wane see that there chance the crossplay system from force to become a option or remove it my part since i not wane play with PC players since the cheater risk is so damm high there so i do not care the diffrend between mouse and keyboard vs controler i give notting about that.
so the only reason i have replay is that somebody was telling that crossplay is not the problem to get cheaters in the lobby’s when i wane make clear to him more that crossplay is a real problem for the concole players since there not wane play with PC cheaters and explane him why there is hate against the PC.

I’m sorry, but you can’t blame that on crossplay.
I agree with most players; crossplay should be turned off by default, but for the average player in the Halo player base, input doesn’t make that big of a difference for either you or your opponents in terms of being able to win a game, at least not to the degree where you are never able to win a single game in a whole week.

Your TV vs monitor comment is irrelevant. Console is not exclusive to just a TV, I’ve been playing console on monitor since the One X.

I look forward to seeing your updated tests with the same settings on both inputs, but in the meantime please stop posting your invalid tests as they are simply inaccurate and misleading. You also don’t need to say “discredited” when it was actually and factually discredited for reasons I have already explained. If you aren’t interested in doing fair and transparent testing with non biased results then don’t bother testing at all.
Just because “you feel” they’re invalid, doesn’t mean they are. Like I said before, and I have no reason to lie. I tried it one to one with the same FOV on both test and it turned out the same. Well, not completely one for one. I need to cap my PC’s frame rate to 120fps like my Xbox Series X. I also need to figure out what graphical settings the Series X is using with 120fps mode, I’ll need to dig through digital foundry and see if they mention it. So, I will be doing a true (as close to possible graphics wise) one to one.
Also, this line here speaks louder than words. This speaks for just about all controller users who defend/favor their input.

If you feel insulted, that’s your problem not mine. I didn’t “insult” you, I didn’t call you names by trying to downplay your input of choice. I simply just said “controller users”. How did you take that as an insult?
Don’t know what you mean by the first sentence. You say you “discredited” me, but how? It’s not like you proved my testing wrong with your own testing, I mean you admitted you can’t do the testing I did because you don’t have a PC. That falls under how you feel, not by what you know.
You’ll never be able to get it running the same not only that but as one dude your tests are invalid by themselves. To have relevant data you need to have multiple subjects under multiple controls. Youd need 4 groups two on console two on pc then further those groups by having one of each set on either system. So one using m&I on pc and one for xbox and the others using controller a minimum of 50 people is required for semi realistic results I’d recommend an even 80 just to simplify the math and get a better range of results. You then in turn would have them play for a week all on a fresh account mind you so the games data can be properly collected and not skewed by prior games on personal accounts. You would then after a week have them switch to the opposite control scheme on their current system i.e pc for pc ect. After a week of that youd switch them to their opposite system but keep them using the control schemes for each group after one final week switch the last time for the original control scheme they were using i.e controller or m&k.
Oh and a small side not some players on console are still on the older generation due to supply scarcity of current systems
After all of that then your data will be relevant. But unfortunately as you’re not on xbox then just nerfing your pc wont be enough. There would still be unforeseen specs that only microsoft knows about on xbox consoles that a pc cant replicate because it may actually be too low.

Or c my case where you’ve spent you’re entire life console gaming. Consoles have always been the cheaper game alternative to buying a pc.
