You don’t think they are aware of what is going on?
I am pretty sure they are looking at the very top and going to have a way to ban them, also you keep forgetting that they have full access far better than any other publisher because MS is the OS of Windows, you bet your -Yoink!- that they are going to flex that to get the cheaters out.

The game is still new so I will give them a chance.

Enjoying it too much, I am not in ONYX yet but maybe that is why I am enjoying it because I hardly see cheaters and that they always want to be on top which makes it obvious to spot. Plus you have theater mode too.

That is what the game ratings are for, you ignore that and know what comes with the warning, you are at your own fault.

I bought a CONSOLE and why shouldn’t I have the option to chose only to play with other consoles?
Heck, in MCC you can select not to play other console players who use M/K so why is this being shoved down our throats in H-Infinite?

Maybe 343 is afraid nobody would want to play with the PC guys. LOL

it is to prevent the number of users from being too small, Halo 5 suffers from that. Now trying to get into a match it takes way too long to get in and to the point, you know no one is playing.

This is a better way to do it and it is not that deep playing with PC players, if anything it can sharpen your skills.

It did great for me because I played with PC players (and with a controller) which helped me play better.

This game has fine-tuned my skills and I am having a great time with it!

Some people rather have a slightly longer search time - that is a very small price for being able to be in charge of whom to play with or not to play with.

There is no reason for 343 to make that decision for anyone.

And playing against a cheater on PC with wall hack and aim bot has nothing to do with skill.

Gee, do you think that a Pro League would let M&K players play with controller players, NO, and do you know why??? Holy crap man

Except the HCS does allow M&K and controller players to play against each other… do some research. It’s obvious you are quite ignorant.

I have spent enough time dealing with idiots thanks  If they do then what is all the hubub about bub

Decided to take a quick look, let’s see what “Intel” has to say about it, don’t take my word for it.

The primary advantage mice have over controllers is the precision they allow when aiming, as well as the range of movement provided by the additional surface area of the mousepad. This means potentially faster movement, depending on your dots per inch (DPI) settings, and the luxury of customizable settings and inputs.

The most obvious advantage of a mouse over a controller is that it can make aiming easier. In a first person shooter, or any game where accuracy is important, a mouse is usually a competitive advantage, and facilitates easier execution of reaction-based shooting, like flickshots. This advantage is significant enough that controller-based FPS will sometimes implement aim assist, which is designed to mitigate that inherent disadvantage.

The other advantage afforded by the increased surface area is that clicking and dragging with a mouse is more intuitive than the same action with a controller. This can be important when precise control over selected units, like in RTS or MOBA games, is a high priority. Pair this with an integrated scroll wheel that can allow for easy cycling through commands for weapons, or facilitate zooming in and out from a map, and the advantage of a mouse becomes clear.

Mice, like keyboards, vary widely in functionality and design, including features like modular design, customizable buttons, and a huge selection of options for just about every type of gamer.

In other words, there’s a mouse and keyboard out there for just about everyone, and they’re often designed to provide a competitive advantage.

Controller is better in halo. The best Mnk Ayers will struggle against the controer player

You got to ask the right question then.

Why wasn’t the option already in the game when they developed this title?

I want to see how they are going to answer that.

If they are on a PC they can run a wall - or any other - cheat regardless of using a controller or m&k.

If a console player doesn’t want to play with or against PC players why FORCE them to do so?

Let each and every player decide for themselves with or against whom they want to play.

MSFT actually may sell some extra Series S/X that way when the PC player are getting tired of having only other cheaters to play with.

I also noticed that the chance of having an “early quitter” in your team seems to be significantly higher with PC players than other console players - but that is another story, and I would love to have the option to prevent being matched with/against anyone who didn’t finish any one of their last 5 or 10 matches.
