In addition to all these new weapons is it possible to have a certain weapon from the covenant or UNSC side to make a CrossBow/Bow & Arrow weapon? Games like Cod, Gears,Skyrim, and the upcoming game Crysis 3 have this weapon type and they make it fit perfectly within the game. Now I’m not saying just, because these games have this type of weapon means Halo needs it. I’m saying it would be cool just to have a new weapon like this introduced in the game. Now how would this work? I’m not good on question on how and why it would work so I’ll leave up to you guys the community to figure that part out.
I would prefer a M392 or BR55 with a suppressor. As much as I love Katniss-in’ the -Yoink- out of people, I think the UNSC would have moved on in 540 years time.

In a game where people use plasma-based weaponry, I think something as primitive as a bow/crossbow would be seriously out of place.
i know you got that idea from the new crysis 3 logo!
The armour is different in crysis, they don’t have as much actual plating. Plate/padded armour like the MJOLNIR suits tends to much crossbows much less effective.
Also, it would be very out of place in the Halo environment. MC does not focus on stealth, that’s why his iconic weapon is an AR.

It’s serious I wouldn’t waste my time making any type of thread if I really put some well thoughts into the thread or any comments that I make.
I’d like a Forerunner sort of weapon that functions like a bow, but with a lot of twists and additions.
If your referring to a power torque bow from Gears, it could work. It’d be difficult since you get one shot with it, but the power behind it to penetrate shields is still fairly powerful…
It’s possible and I wouldn’t honestly mind. Heck, make it interesting. Penetration of shields and kill is only on a headshot.
