Why is the conversation about cross play so cold? Cross play must be, MUST BE optional.
It is clear as day that those playing on PC have an advantage weather it be mouse speed or cheating, and they should only be playing against console if console players allow to be matched with them.
Playing SWAT (no I’m not calling it tactical slayer because that name change was dumb and not needed…just like assassination and suicide) is virtually impossible for console players. I have never seen the kind of aiming and movement that I saw today out of console players. I have played SWAT since is beginning. I have never seen anything like I saw today.
Instant turning while shooting with perfect headshots.
Bunny hopping while landing perfect head shots.
Long distance straffing with perfect head shots.
Head shots when not even looking at their opponent.
All of the players I saw this out of were from PC players.
Of course cross play on all other game types also has its nonsense but nothing like playing SWAT.
This experience made me give up playing Infinite for the evening only after two games. I do not know when I will be back.
I have such a bad taste in my mouth from this multiplayer experience…I am glad I did not support the campaign at full price and I WILL be waiting to purchase the campaign either at deep discount or used.

You’re right. In ranked, M+KB players have a huge advantage when it comes to cross map shots. Getting melted just crossing a cross map sightline is getting ridiculous. And the melee being as broken as it is gives them a huge advantage because they can 180 almost instantly after a miss and get that second melee in while a controller player is still trying to get turned around.
We desperately need the option to turn it off. Between cheaters and the general brokenness of the mixed inputs, it’s over the top.

its not mouse speed.
Its that their wrist has so much more muscles that they have more Personal Aptitude.
its called,
DEXTERITY
they can also hop like -Yoink!- monkeys. that’s what gets me. their thumb lingering on spacebar…
but unless they have a super expensive Mouse, it’s not better.
and if they do. get an extra expensive ELITE controller.
you don’t have a problem being matched against players with PADDLES do you?
ping/crouch/melee and crouch/ping/jump on paddles?
what do u think about players with $150 dollar controllers.

It’s the wall hacks that are making playing with PC players so frustrating I have watched countless PC players track opposing teens through walls. Timing impossible headshots at the exact moment a player Walk out from behind cover over and over it’s ridiculous.

I been using a sim racing setup for forza horizons 5 that’s cheating the controller is not on the same level of advantage but I proudly support input segregation as it’s the only way to justly expect a good time
