I’m sure there’s already a post here about this but there HAS to be an option to turn off crossplay, console players can’t be in the same match as PC it just doesn’t work, between the cheating and the massive advantage M&K provides it really takes away the experience online. Can’t play more than 4-5 games in a row without running into someone who just point and click auto kills everyone with the skewer or is nailing perfect kills with the pistol.

It just needs to be optional. It’s great that the game has crossplay functionality, but for the sake of the discrepancies between the two platforms? It shouldn’t be forced.
That’s not to suggest that I have some sort of inherent bias against the PC platform and M&K, though. I’m only concerned about cheaters.

It really is awful. Phil Spencer himself promised to never force console to compete with PC.
How do you even balance something like the skewer when mouse and thumbstick are both used?

I don’t have a problem dealing with M&K players and even if they disable crossplay the xbox version natively supports M&K so you’re still going to run into them outside of ranked. I only have a problem with the fact that the PC version is flooded with hackers because the game lacks anti cheat.
Until the game can consistently stop hacking, crossplay needs to be optional.
